In Rimini two important sport events

Great Sport Dance competitions, the Italian Indoor Archery Championship and 1st Italian Challenge from 23rd January to 1st February

Many are the sport events that take place in Rimini in this first part of the new year.

To start with, Rimini hosts once again an exceptionally dance event: The Italian Championship and the Sport Dance Master Class.
An event with great dance performances, international rhythms and exciting competitions. It is an opportunity to discover the most exciting aspects of this sport activity. The competitions are held over two weekends with the participation of all best Italian athletes engaged in different dance disciplines.

From Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th January the challenges will be in the disciplines of Academic Dance, Street Dance, Freestyle, Folk, Whips, Jazz, Caribbean, Argentine and Country Western, while from Thursday 29th January to Sunday 1st February the competitions will be held in Standard Dances, Latin American, Combined ten dance, Latin Dance Show, National Style and others.
In addition, several appointments of training and courses for the judges are scheduled during the days of 26th, 27th and 28th January.
Seven days of great entertainment which will also see the presence of the Empress Ochestra from Blackpool who will accompany with live music the competitions of Standard Dances , Latin American dances and Combined ten dances during the last weekend, from Thursday 29th January to Sunday 1st February.

Second great appointment of the year is the Italian Indoor Archery Championship and the 1st Italian Challenge.
The national event will see the best Italian archers in challenge and kicks off the new season of the Italian championship with the individual and team finals on schedule on Sunday 1st February together with the award ceremony of the Italian best archers.
The event, organized by the Rimini Archers association - Seven Arrows, proposes a great novelty this year: in addition to the Italian Indoor Championships, the first international indoor open - Italian Challenge, already included in the international calendar of the World Archery Championship. The competition is scheduled on Friday 30th January as a prelude of the Italian Indoor Championships, to be held on Saturday 31st January and Sunday 1s February.
 
In the first edition of Italian Challenge two Dutch champions have already confirmed the participation, Rick Van Der Ven, a rising star and European outdoor and indoor champion, together with the decorated athlete of the division compound, Inge Van Caspel. Among the international athletes in the competition there is also the European champion, Tatiana Segina from Russia.
The participants of the international competition will compete on two sets of 30 arrows at the classic distance of 18 meters, and the best archers will win prizes in money.

Both championships will challenge in three divisions: Olympic Arch, Arch Compound and Bare Bow, male and female.

In the division Arco Olympic of the Italian Indoor Championship the best Italian archers will participate such as the trio from the Italian Air Force, Mauro Nespoli, Marco Galiazzo and Michele Frangilli. Among other athletes of the Italian National team there are also Marco Morello and Davide Pasqualucci, as well as Matteo Fissore who aims to get on the podium, while in the female category will be present the multi awarded Natalia Valeeva.
In the Compound division there will be athletes of the National Campaign and 3D, Antonio Pompeo and Giuseppe Seimandi, and the Fiamme Azzurre will be represented by the National Paralympic champion, Alberto Simonelli. In the challenge the archer Giampaolo Cancelli participates as athlete of the National Paralympic, while in the women's category are participating Marcella Tonioli and the National Para-Archery Eleonora Sarti. Among the Italian National archers in the division Bare Bow there are the European champion, Alessandro Giannini, and the archer of the National Campaign and 3D, Ferruccio Berti.
