'Percuotere la mente', the event, within the programme of the annual Sagra Malatestiana music festival, offers evenings of great music performances for the summer in the beautiful setting of the Augustinian Court.  It is a challenging project of new sounds where Italian and international artists give their music performances. 

After the preview on 29th June that presented Cristina di Pietro's vocal technique and the class and versatility of the Landlord, the 2016 edition of this musical event will continue along a path dedicated to contemporary music with one of the highlights on Thursday, 14th July: on stage Ròisìn Murphy, the talented Irish artist, former voice of Moloko. Her style is a new way to perform music from dark cabaret and disco to classical house and electronic music. 

The concert on Tuesday, 19th July is staged in a refined theatrical setting set up by the duo Kings of Convenience from Norway to celebrate the 15 years of their musical story. 

Also the concert on 25th July by the Blonde Redhead will be performed in a theatrical setting. The New York trio is a mix of Italian and Japanese blood with the Pace twins and Kazu Makino. 

The last event of the festival, on Sunday, 31st July, is a tribute to the great Italian poet and songwriter Fabrizio De Andrè - a concert of poetry and music entrusted to great jazz musicians guided by Rita Marcotulli: Enzo Pietropaoli, Fabrizio Bosso, Javier Girotto, Saverio Lanza, Cristiano Calcagnile with the voice and the guitar of Cristina Donà. 
 

All the concerts start at 9.15 pm in the outdoor space of the Augustinian Court (Corte degli Agostiniani, via Cairoli 42 – Rimini ). In case of rain the events will be held in the Teatro Ermete Novelli, via Cappellini 3 - Rimini
